RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & LEGAL AFFAIRS:

Supervise all Human Resource & Time Management Functions at Plant / Operations site for Dewan Farooque Motors Limited in Pakistan & Other Multinational Companies inland and Abroad Working as Administration Management and Human Resources Officer (Current Accumulative Manpower management Strength is around 660).

REPORTING LINE:

  • Reporting to Director Human resources at site while, in Head Office reports to Group Director Administration & Human Resources (Dewan Mushtaq Group) and General Manager Human Resources Automotive Operations DMG.
  • Two Executives & Two Jr. Executives arebeing supervised by me.

ADMINISTRATION & HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTIONS:

  • Keep abreast to Director Administration & HR and General Manager Human Resources regarding necessary amendments & updating in policies in vogue & provide necessary assistance in formation of new Policies in consultation with Director Plant Operations.
  • Recruitment of permanent, Contractual and daily wage employees in coordination with concerned Departmental Heads & Director Plant Operations.
  • Coordinate in employees’ foreign & local Trainings and conduct in house training Sessions e.g. Team Work, Communication Skills, Motivation, Leadership, Diversity Management etc.
  • Manage and coordinate in annual performance appraisal of all employees and provide the necessary assistance to concerned Departmental Heads.
  • Coordinate with Head Office-HR to arrange the Group Hospitalization Insurance (GHI) Cards & reimbursement cheques of Hospitalization claims of all Plant based permanent employees.
  • Coordinate with Head Office-HR for updating in Group Life Insurance of all permanent employees and process death/partial disability claims of respective employees.
  • Process employees’ leave fare assistance applications, personal loan applications and reimbursement of OPD medical expenses’ vouchers of permanent employees and co-ordination with Finance Department for payment.
  • Process Provident Fund’s withdrawal applications of permanent employees and coordinate with Finance Department for disbursement of cheque.
  • Supervise/monitor personal files management of all employees.
  • Responsible for day to day grievance handling of all plant based employees.
  • Conduct Exit interviews & Process resignations/final settlements of all employees.
  • Manage and supervise manpower strength rationalization activities when required.

TIME MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervise monitoring of daily attendance of all employees. Attendance Card swiping, half day, short leave etc. Periodic monitoring of employees’ leaves records from leave ledger.
  • Review & process monthly pay day’s reports of all employees’ i.e. permanent, contractual & daily wages for payroll purpose.
  • Review monthly attendance & pay days report of security personnel and process payroll.
  • Review & process monthly attendance of all employees for Mess bill purpose.

LEGAL AFFAIRS:

  • Visit labour courts in plant related matters and act as company’s respondent.
  • Coordinate with company’s legal advisor to discuss/seek his opinion in legal matters.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS:

  • Keeps liaison with Sindh Worker Welfare Board Hyderabad regarding acquisition of various benefits i.e. Marriage Grants for employees’ daughters, Scholarship Grants for employees and their children, Death Grants for survivors of deceased employee and Sewing Machines for highly deserving employees of Plant, Head Office & DCC & EL.
  • Coordinate with EOBI Regional Office regarding registration of employees and acquisition of PE-03 Cards, Old age pension/grants and survivor’s pension.
  • Coordinate with EOBI Office Karachi regarding registration of employees and acquisition of PE-03 Cards, Old age pension/grants and survivor’s pension of all Head Office based employees of Dewan Farooque Motors Ltd, Dewan Motors (Pvt) Ltd & Dewan Mitsubishi Motors Ltd.
  • Coordinate with Sindh Social Security Institute Landhi Directorate Karachi regarding monthly payment of contribution and acquisition of employees’ cards in designated category.
  • Prepare monthly industrial survey report and annual census of manufacturing concerns regarding monthly/annual production data, manpower strength, working days during the month/year, written down value of company’s fixed assets and fuel consumption and subsequently, forward the same to Industrial Development Officer Thatta. (Ministry of Industries & Production).
