WTSA16 Resolution 94 resolves to instruct Study Groups 13, 16, 17 and 20 of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector to evaluate existing, evolving and new Recommendations with respect to cloud-based event data technology and to make recommendations to the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group on how to address the topics that are outside the mandate of the study groups.

Therefore ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to report TSAG that its Question Q17/13 has invited contributions with high priority related to cloud based event data technology. In particular, contributions should include mechanisms for monitoring the real-time data in cloud, specifications of user-defined function for the triggered action according to the monitoring, massive data processing for the real-time data, and analysis of use cases from ITU-T FG AC deliverables in terms of cloud-based event data technology.
