Position Title: RUTHERFORD Cable Administrative Co-ordinator
Reports to: RUTHERFORD Cable President
FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Part-time (25 - 30 hours)
Position Description: Provides administrative, organizational and operational support for RUTHERFORD Cable and the RUTHERFORD Cable Foundation, including marketing and financial support, book-keeping, and membership services support. At the direction of the RUTHERFORD Cable Board President, the RUTHERFORD Cable Administrative Coordinator provides support to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee in their leadership of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
General:
Direct reporting responsibility to RUTHERFORD Cable’s Board President.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with President.
Serves as the staff contact for all prospective and current members.
Member Services:
Sends “welcome email” with date of member orientation within 24 hours of notification.
Assist with new member/member orientation.
Maintains Name Tags
CABLE Zap administrator, maintaining a 24 hours turn around for zaps.
Maintain zap addresses
Assists with RUTHERFORD Cable survey
Manages RUTHERFORD Cable calendar
Stores, delivers and constructs pop-up banners
Connects new members with a member of the Member Services committee, if needed. (Replaces “buddy system”)
Assist with Special Events on the day of.
Prints and delivers tent cards for head table at breakfast meetings.
Financial:
Check the PO Box and make deposits from PO Box
Approve new members and archiving members in Wild Apricot
Wild Apricot registration
Enter Credit Card transactions daily into excel spreadsheet
Confirms Nashville CABLE dual memberships
Marketing & Public Relations:
Website – “Contact Us” button queries
Website event management
Co-ordinate with committee members for website including, posting events,
follow through with event postings (weekly)
Wild Apricot expert, conducts Wild Apricot training sessions as needed
Manages meeting surveys and special event surveys and shares with Board
Maintains Cable store

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or human relations preferred. Requirements include three or more years of office administration and bookkeeping, preferably in a non-profit environment; a working knowledge of Microsoft office products: Excel, Word, & PowerPoint plus knowledge and skills in working with a document retention system, database, and the Internet. Requires bookkeeping experience and knowledge of Quickbooks, and the ability to perform highly sophisticated tasks in a variety of software programs. Requires interactive customer experience at all professional levels. Strong commitment to the RUTHERFORD Cable mission, values and objectives.

Must have ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information; the ability to write business correspondence, and administrative/process manuals; the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members, prospective members and community.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk, hear, stand, and walk. Must have the ability to use both hands in fine manipulation of small tools (copier, computer, telephone, typewriter, calculator, safe, facsimile machine); the ability to see well enough to read handwritten and typewritten material; the ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, turn, bend and twist above and below the waist, push/pull up to 10 lbs., and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
