Project Awards $4,000/Hospital

  • ICAHN is pleased to announce a special project award for critical access hospitals of $4,000/facility to implement a customer service training program.This grant is to provide for start-up programs of Customer Service.
  • Deadline to submit application: July 10th!Recipients will be notified no later than July 15th.
  • Recipients must be willing to provide a poster/story board or article presentation at the Annual CAH conference in November of their implementation process and any available outcomes/metrics.
  • Funding is available for five facilities and made possible by the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant program.
  • Please complete the form below and fax to the ICAHN office 815-875-2990 or email Angie Charlet at as soon as possible to be eligible for the project award.
  • We encourage funds to be usedfor any of the three selected customer service programs (but not required) that support ICAHN – Joe Tye’sValues Coaching, Brian Lee’s Custom Learning and Michelle RathmanBatschke’sImpact Communications Customer Service for Rural Facilities.
  • If you are looking at a service outside of the three above, please list the vendor and contact information for the program and how it relates to rural and meets your needs. This will also provide us more potential vendors/speakers in the future for customer service programs and offerings. Remember you can also use the funds for an internal customer service program that does not require vendor engagement.
