We have the honor to invite you and your team to take part into activities by the program of Festival
The traditional International Balloon Festival “Rimska Bania 2015” is notable aviation event not only in Bulgaria, but also beyond its borders. This Event attracts numerous spectators and the media.

Participants
International Balloon Festival “Rimska Bania 2015” is opened to all the pilots who comply FAI Sporting Code, Flight Rules, and the Rules for the Event, have a valid Pilot License and have registered in the organizing Events’ committee until November 20, 2014.
Qualifications: each pilot shall have at least 30 accumulated hours as Pilot-Capitan of an aerostat.
The organizers expect to receive, up to 20 pilots of hot air balloons. The number of other aircraft pilots, up to 10 under the terms of provision, which are listed below.
It will be the pilots who first confirmed their intention to participate in the Event, and paid refundable entry fee of 100 Euro. It will be refunded at check-party before the event.

Legal aspects of the Event and the official language.
Flights will take place in accordance with the requirements of the Air Code of Bulgaria and correspondently the Event Rules.
The official languages of the Event are Bulgarian, Russian and English.
The organizers will provide for free:
- Accommodation and morning coffee for 4 teammates (pilot + 3 crew members) for balloon teams, and 2 teammates (pilot + 1 crew members) for other aircrafts;
- Maps and meteorological support;
- Participation in the celebrations and cultural program for teams.
I the case of necessity additional team members may book a room in the hotel at an additional cost. Pricing starts from 17 Euros (for 1 person in a double room)
The organizing committee reserves the rights to place advertising sponsors on the baskets of participants, as well as requests to reserve a seat in the basket during the flight.
INSURANCE
Each balloon shall be insured against all claims for the damage to third parties for
1500 000 SDR minimum.
Rent of the car/help of volunteers
In case if you’d like to rent a car, need a help of volunteers or any other information and help in preparation to the trip, then we’d ask contact us immediately and we’ll be happy to give you a support.
Sports program
The competition program by FAI, Events/model events rules, will be offered for participants as a part of Event. Please visit http://www.fai.org/cia-documents in details.
The “Best Event photo contest” will be held among the participants. Winners of the competition and contest will be awarded by incentive prizes.
Cultural program
In program of Festival:
- Free flights of hot air balloons, and other aircrafts of light aviation.
- Fire-show (burner – parade)
- Night-glow.
- Seminars on amateur aviation.
- Performances of people who are known in aviation circles.
- Evening parties.
Organizers will provide you with the perfect accommodation in the Thermal SPA Hotel "Rimska Bania", free use of the hotel spa options (pools with hot mineral springs, saunas, steam rooms Roman baths, and other), participation in all events of the Festival. The famous Bulgarian ski resort Bansko is situated at 6 kilometers from the hotel. Transit to the gondola lift from the hotel and back is being provided at the expense of hotel.
You can enjoy the delights of Bulgarian cuisine in cozy cafes and restaurants, which are situated nearby. You can catch a trout on special farms by using a simple tackle, and then, at your request, it might be cooked out into the mouth-watering dish right there.
