7.  Full tour pax contain 3/4 launches and any extra launches may be booked and paid for in cash in Ponta (R250). Launches may be cancelled due to bad seas. Clients will be given a strict code of conduct which details rules and regulations that must be adhered to when interacting with wild dolphins. Snorkelling course and Dolphin Presentation are set at 3pm (snorkelling) & 5pm (Dolphin Presentation). Please ensure you are on time to avoid missing the program. You can hire a mask and snorkel from us @ R150.00 for the weekend. We do not recommend a wetsuit, as it keeps you too buoyant and you can't dive down to play with the dolphins, but a sharkskin or Lycra suit is fine.

8.  Eco-Tour Launches are pre-booked for Tour participants ensuring the early morning slots. Casual launches are to be booked and paid for in cash in Ponta. Please note we need a minimum of 6 people to launch. Casual Dolphin Swims take place AFTER the Full Tour Launches. If your intention is to swim with dolphins don't sell yourself short with a once off casual launch. Bearing in mind the dolphins also have to go about their daily routines and we can’t expect to just come across a pod that is going to be interactive and social all the time. They too have to rest, eat, travel, fight, procreate etc. Remember the more time you spend on the water the more likely you are of having a ‘Dolphin EnCOuntour’ of note! The touching of dolphins is prohibited, all participants have to attend the swim briefing. Casual Dolphin Packages do not include snorkelling course, gift pack, dolphin presentations, border transfers etc.

9.  All tours are self drive to the border, thereafter you will be collected in a 4x4. Please see directions below. Maps available from the AA.

10.  Group tours of more than 10 people are allowed 2 facilitators (free pax) who stay and participate in The Dolphin Full Tour Program, paying only R280 per person per night. These can be used for raffles; fund raising etc…) 20 clients with 3 facilitators b) 30 clients with 4 facilitators. A Dolphin EnCOuntours booking form per client is compulsory, as it contains all the vital information that we require to make sure you enjoy your stay with us. Alternatively a detailed list showing sleeping arrangements, dietary requirements, special needs and border transfer times, per person is necessary. Financial deposits for groups must be paid as follows:- all bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to block book your date, 50% balance due 3 weeks prior to arrival.

No pictures of humans touching dolphins can be used in publicity associated with Dolphin EnCOuntours.

12.  WHAT TO BRING: Maleria- In the 10 years we have been working in Mozambique, none of our staff have contracted malaria and none take prophylactics, the choice is yours. Hat, towels and a torch for unforeseen blackouts, candles are forbidden in the rooms! Snacks and fancy brews if you want. Mask and snorkel, fins, we do not hire out fins. A disposable under water camera, the dollies love the wind up sound! For the musically inclined bring along equipment i.e.:-guitar, you may feel inspired to play!
