Bidders shall be required to state and confirm in their written bid that, if successful, they shall meet all of the requirements below:

General Limitations:
- Electronic or faxed bids will not be accepted. Incomplete or unclear bids may be rejected by the Superintendent of Facilities; however, the Board reserves the right to contact the bidder in such cases to obtain clarification after bid opening. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid has reached the Superintendent of Facilities.
- The Superintendent of Facilities will not assume any responsibility or liability for costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of a tender.
- It is the responsibility of all bidders to read all instructions, information, specifications and terms and conditions of the tender. If clarification is required, it is the bidder’s responsibility to obtain such clarification from the Superintendent of Facilities 306-425-3302, and prior to the closing of the tender.
- Any revision to a tender that has been submitted must be in writing and received prior to the tender closing date, and submitted in accordance with these instructions for submitted tenders.
- Tenders are irrevocable after the time of closing, and are open for acceptance for a period of 30 days following the closing.
- Tenders may be withdrawn at any time prior to the closing only, by written notice to the Superintendent of Facilities.
- The Superintendent of Facilities reserves the right to reasonably extend the submission deadline and will advise bidders prior to the submission deadline should this become necessary.
- Tenders will be opened on November 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., at the school division Central Office in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
- The final decision of the Superintendent of Facilities in accepting or rejecting any tender will be made at a date thereafter, and the bidders will be notified by the Superintendent of Facilities.
- Only one bid per company or person will be accepted. Where there is more than one bid from the same company or business, the higher bid shall be deemed to be the bid and the others shall be rejected.
- The Superintendent of Facilities reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and shall consider factors such as payment within prescribed timeline, bidder reputation and reliability.

- The successful bidder shall make payment and pickup material within 10 business days after the successful bidder has been notified of the Superintendent of Facilities’ decision.
Separate sealed tenders shall be clearly marked in large print “NLSD Tender(s) 15/16-002” and addressed to the Superintendent of Facilities.
