We are all members of the academic communityandpartners with complementary roles and responsibilities in the learning process. Students and staff have jointly developed an agreement that sets out key principles that underpin this partnership. Through this, we are enhancing academic standards and achieving the University’s vision, mission and values. We work and learn together in an inclusive community acknowledging the development of partnership within teaching and learning that exists between all members of the University and Partnership settings. We will work together to maintain the high status of Plymouth University Institute of Education Partnership within the South West and beyond through professional, dynamic and positive efforts. We will demonstrate mutual respect, take joint responsibility for learning and ensure equality of opportunity.
Teaching and learning
  • We will provide astimulating learning environment, with high quality research-informed teaching and academic support using appropriate methods
  • We will give fair and impartial assessment of your coursework, returned with appropriate constructive feedback within 20 working days.
  • We will support well-being and personal development and enhance lifelong learning skills for future success through high quality tutorial support as well as promoting opportunities to reflect on feedback together and plan next steps

  • We will ensure internal and external monitoring, review and improvement of the quality of courses, providing regular opportunities for students to comment on the provision of academic and service support and programme development
