Entrepreneur Research Project

Who is your favorite Entrepreneur?

Sam Walton, Bill Gates, Wally Amos, Walt Disney, Jake Burton Carpenter, or Ray Kroc?

For your project you will be selecting an entrepreneur of you choice and preparing a research project and presentation on the entrepreneur you selected.

Project

Prepare a written report on the entrepreneur you selected. The report must include the following information:

I. BACKGROUND

Entrepreneur’s background (include a picture of the entrepreneur)

a.  Entrepreneur’s name

b.  Date of birth and death (if applicable)

c.  Hometown

d.  Current residence (if applicable)

e.  Education/experience

f.  Additional information (minimum 3)

II.  TIMELINE

Prepare a timeline of important dates in the entrepreneurs life and career (minimum 10).

III.  PRODUCT/IDEAS

Describe in detail their contributions to the business world

a.  Include 3 photos of their product or service (include descriptions)

IV.  Bibliography

Provide a list of all sources with as much detail as possible.

Project formatting, your project must include:

ü  Project rubric attached on top

ü  Cover Page: The entrepreneurs name, Your Name, Class, Period, Date

ü  Report folder

ü  Page numbers

Presentation

Presentations will take place on September 18 & 19.

The presentation must be completed using PowerPoint and include all of the information in you research project.
