Below, please find a list of possible choices from contemporary and classic authors. You may select from this list, but you are not required to use this list. If you pick a book from this list, or if you come up with your own selection, your parent/guardian MUST sign the approval form.

Note- Since these titles vary in reading level, topic, and genre- please make sure you investigate any selections carefully before deciding on your final choice.

1.  If you have a particular interest in a specific book or author and want to reading similar books, visit Amazon.com, BarnesandNobel.com,. etc. Type in the title and/or author, and you will see many book suggestions from people who have purchased the book/author you’re searching.

2.  Go to the American Library Association (http://www.ala.org/) or Shelfari.com to search the book lists for teens and young adults. Some of the titles above have come from these lists.

You will need to finish your book by: ____DECEMBER 10th______and are therefore encouraged to begin reading over Thanksgiving break. You will be required to read for 30+ minutes each night once you return from break.
