POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Field Representative
JOB OVERVIEW: Provide monitoring and outreach services for home child care providers registered with the YWCA’s Providers Allied for Nutrition (PAN) child care nutrition program. Job requires extensive car travel within the central NM area and frequent night and weekend work.
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational, time management and communication skills; Able to work with a minimum of supervision; Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and various web-based applications; A background in Early Childhood education is preferred; Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred; must have reliable transportation and clean driving record and minimum NM standard car insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Visit assigned providers at least the minimum number of times as required by state and federal regulations and PAN policies.
2. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for each provider, including new applications, renewals, and home visit reports in a timely manner in accordance with PAN program policies; maintain provider files in both hardcopy and electronic format including appropriate data entry in the EPICS system.
3. Check each home visited in a complete and consistent manner, noting potential hazards, unsanitary conditions, or any program violations; Provide program orientation to new providers and ongoing CACFP technical assistance to providers supplying appropriate referrals as needed.
4. As scheduled, assist with the monthly review and processing of submitted menus including accurate and timely claim data entry in the EPICS database.
5. Create and deliver CACFP training workshops to family home child care providers.
6. Maintain accurate time and mileage records and submit in a timely manner; Attend scheduled staff meetings.
7. Deliver high quality customer service to clients of the YWCA and consistently maintain client confidentiality.
8. Assist with translation of documents as needed.
9. As scheduled, participate in community outreach events and assist in program growth by informing PAN Director of upcoming outreach opportunities.
10. Attend necessary professional development opportunities as needed for continued adequate job performance.
11. Exhibit professionalism that enhances her/his own performance, and that of the team, program, and organization.
12. Serve on YWCA committees as requested by President and CEO.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by her/his supervisor.

HOURS OF WORK: Full Time/Part time/non-exempt
SALARY RANGE: $9.00 – $13.50, hourly 03/15
