Inside Sales Representative

Company Summary: We are a custom aquarium manufacturer that delivers build to order custom made aquariums, hoods, and stands nationwide. We have a multitude of sizes, colors, and equipment options for both salt and freshwater fish.

Position Summary: This full-time position is responsible for various incoming and outgoing sales focused phone calls with customers helping them custom configure their aquarium and supplies to fit their needs.We will then custom make these items and deliver to their door nationwide. General prior knowledge of fresh, saltwater, marine, and reef care is a plus, but not required. We can fully train the sales representative about our products; our main requirement is general experience with dealing with inbound sales calls and follow ups. Responsibilities include receiving incoming phone calls, answering and addressing customer questions, acquiring new business, nurturing relationships, developing customer loyalty, and overseeing the entire sales and order process.This person is also responsible to handle any customers that visit the corporate office for in-person demonstrations or questions. On occasion, this person may be asked to attend trade shows and to make in-person sales calls for current or future customers. Additional tasks may required by management to effectively manage current and future customers.

Requirements:

-High school education or GED required

-Minimum of six months experience taking inbound sales calls

-Experience making cold calls

-Make the necessary amount of outbound calls to meet company sales objectives

-Active participation in sales meetings, sales training, and professional development

-Energetic, self-motivated, ability to work independently

-Team player willing to help out and to seek ways to collaborate and enhance company functions

-Strong verbal and written skills

-Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks

-Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
