ALSTONEFIELD CAMPING BARN

ACCESS STATEMENT

Introduction

Restored hay barn on a working beef and sheep farm approx one and a half miles from the village of Alstonefield, in the heart of the Peak District, between Dovedale and Manifold Valley. It is reached by an old bridle path where car parking/minibus spaces are provided. Whilst this old path has been upgraded to enable car access it is uneven and should only be driven on slowly and with caution (max 5 miles an hour). The barn enjoys lovely views and dale walks in all directions and is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and riders. It is also convenient for Alton Towers and visiting historic houses.

If you have any questions about access please call the owners at Gateham Grange on 01335 310349 or the YHA Camping barn reservation office on 01629 592700
