Metro Nashville Public Schools use a standards-based curriculum. The letter grades indicate the student’s progress in meeting grade level standards and expectations.
E = 100-90 Excellent Performance
S = 89-80 Satisfactory Performance
P = 79-70 Progressing
N = 69-60 Needs Improvement
U = 59® Unsatisfactory
Each grade represents your child’s achievement for one 9-week grading period in that subject. The final grade corresponds to the grade on your child’s permanent record.
