LASIK (LASER IN SITU KERATOMILEUSIS)
We make a structure called Corneal Flap by using a cutting machine

Advantages
The period of recovery is short
There is very little pain, since epithelial cells of a cornea are protected
It is appropriate for those who have a low and middle degree of nearsightedness
It is possible to get surgery both sides of your eyes.
Because the eyesight goes up to 0.6~1.0
The period of treatment and using medicine is no longer than 1 month
There is hardly get glaucoma and cataracts, steroid drops do not need to be used after surgery
Disadvantages
This is possible to get a cornea flap related complication, while LASEK is not caused at all
If you are unsuitable to this surgery, we recommend you to get LASEK instead of LASIK
It requires experienced medical teambecause it is technical to make a cornea flap
MICRO LASIK
The surgery method is the same as LASIK but, the thickness of cornea flap is 100~130㎛ when formatting the structure
For that reason, remaining cornea is more than the previous one after surgery
Therefore, it reduces side effects and you can get a great result
LASEK (LASER EPHITHELIAL KERATOMILEUSIS)
LASEK is different from LASIK in surgery methods
The former is peeling the surface of cornea easily regenerate, while the latter is making corneal flap before shooting laser into your eyes
The period of recovery is a little longer than LASIK since, there is no process of forming the corneal flap
The surgery is more physical shock-resistant and remains much more cornea after surgery rather than LASIK
LASEK also has possessiveness in that xeroma causing trouble until recently recovers 6 months after surgery
Advantages
LASEK removes pains and inconvenience right after the surgery rather than Eximer Laser Surgery (PRK) and it also minimize an infection due to the loss of epithelial cells of the cornea, so it reduces the occurrence of cornea haze around
This is advantageous for those inappropriate to get LASIK, because of small eyes, thin layered-cornea
There is no process of making corneal flap, so that it is good for athletes, pilots, and professionalsoldiers
The possibility to get complication related to a corneal cutting, so you can get a safe surgery
Disadvantages
Pains are more than LASIK and the period of recovery is longer
To check the condition of the intraocular pressure (IOP), you should have regular tests after surgery, since you have to use steroid-eye drops
The period of using medicine is longer than LASIK but there are differences between individuals
PAIN FREE LASEK
During surgery, the special‘Gas Cooling System’ is operated to cool cornea, so that it reduces pains and make a quicker recovery
M-LASEK
We use the medicine called Mitomycin to minimize occurrences of cornea haze or worsening of your eyesight
This is good for those who have a severe nearsightedness, since the medicine reduces multiplication of cells and regenerating tissues
