MITTEN TREE- December 1-17th:
To celebrate the season of giving, Centennial Lane Elementary will continue the tradition of the “Mitten Tree.” This tradition has helped countless families in the school and community. If you wish for your child to participate in the program please fill out the form that will come home with your child. This will allow your child to choose a mitten from the tree. Each mitten is color-coded and will have a label attached indicating an item that will assist a needy family this Holiday season. Please purchase the item noted on the label, wrap it, and return the wrapped gift with the mitten attached. Local area gift cards for toys, groceries, and gasoline are also a need. Please bring the wrapped gift or gift card, with the mitten attached to the Counseling Office by December 17th. Gifts will be distributed to individual families on December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. CLES PTA's annual Winter Dance- Friday, January 8th 7:00 - 9:00 p.m:
The CLES PTA will host a Hawaiian Luau Winter Dance onFriday, January 8thfrom7- 9 pmin the Burleigh Manor Middle School cafeteria. This event is free and open to all CLES students. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Wear your favorite shorts and Hawaiian shirts, and dance any winter blues away to the music from the DJ. Light snacks will be provided to the students at no charge. Join us for this fun evening sponsored by your CLES PTA!
CLES PTA- HARBIN FARMS:
Once again this year Harbin Farms is offering a donation for every tree sold to families from our school. They are located at the corner of Bethany Lane & Rt. 99 and will be open from 11-9 Mon-Fri and 9-9 Sat-Sun. They offer fresh cut and live trees, fresh made wreaths (custom orders accepted), live garland, delivery and set up, poinsettias, cider, and jams and jellies (great gifts) are also available. Be sure to mention our school while purchasing your tree this year and a 10% donation will be made to our PTA. If you have any questions call Kim at443-864-3536.
PTA MEMBERSHIP:
PTA membership cards and School Directories have been sent home to all families and staff who joined for the 2015/2016 school year. If you did not receive your PTA membership card or directory, please email Jessica Esposito at . PTA Membership forms will be accepted through the remainder of the school year. Membership forms are available to print on our website If you join now, you can still receive a free copy of the School Directory.

YEARBOOK PHOTOS WANTED!
Send in your donations of photos from Class List Posting, School Orientations, First Day of School, Dolphin Dash and Walk & Wheel Wednesday for the 2015/16 CLES Yearbook! Group photos are preferred over photos with a single student in them. Please keep in mind that photos taken with camera phones don't always have a high enough resolution/quality to reproduce well in the yearbook, so photos taken with a camera will receive priority. BOX TOPS:
Wow, what a start to the year for Box Tops! Over $400 has been collected by the CLES PTA in Box Tops by YOU! THANK YOU and keep up the GREAT work. Our next raffle for November/December will take place on December 18th. Send in your Box Tops on collection sheets or in a bag with your name on it. Ten valid Box Tops = your name in our drawing.
