Bell ringer / Complete daily language review inside writing folder by reading the directions and completing with the correct answer (ActivBoard camera will be used.
Method/Activities / Share bell ringer.
Students will take photos and words from folder and classify according to types of nouns. Proper and common.
Students will create their own definition to each type.
Discuss capitalization rules for proper nouns.
Make a list on flipchart of proper/common nouns and nouns that are ideas.
Pass out white construction to use the next day and place in folder in writing baskets

Students will use their photos and words of nouns to create an object, character, or creature by arranging and gluing on construction paper.
Students will create their own background for their projects.

Students will write/type an introductory paragraph using the parts to introduce their noun project.
