Intern/Volunteer Position Description
Us Together’s mission is to coordinate, organize, and initiate services to refugees through education, advocacy, support services, information, referrals, and networking opportunities to strength the community in which we live.
Title/Position: Case Manager Aide
Program: Refugee Resettlement at Us Together resettles immigrants and refugees from all around the world. We help arriving refugees adjust to their lives here in the US by helping them find a job, learn English, navigate public institutions, support their families, and much more. To address the cultural adjustment difficulties facing newcomers, Us Together offers many volunteer opportunities to accommodate the growing need.
Goal of Position: Perform office and administrative support to better equip case managers and staff with resources to more effectively complete casework and necessary tasks.

Tasks/Responsibilities:
· Complete casenotes, file documents, and perform data entry pertaining to refugee cases with respective case managers
· Transport clients to appointments or arrange transportation
· Perform other tasks around the office as needed
Qualifications:
· Must be an organized individual that follows directions well
· Previous office experience a plus
· Must be compassionate, caring, and culturally sensitive
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Requirements:
1. Must be 18 or older

3. Must honor confidentiality of client records and sign confidentiality agreement
4. Must provide own reliable mode of transportation
Time Commitment:
Ideal candidates are able to make a 10 hour commitment. Scheduling is coordinated between the candidate and supervisor
