Shoot - 1 practice and 2 competition targets with 5 shots per target, 1 handed from 7m at a 4 second facing turning target per shot.

Swim - 3 minutes

Run - Approx 1500m.

Mini ClassesCross Country Max height 80cm

Shoot - 1 static practice and 2 static competition targets with 5 shots per target from 7m , 2 handed.

Allowing mixed teams

Bean bag throwing, 5 bean bags to be thrown over approx 5 m .

Swim - 2 minutes

Run - approx 500m.

TEAMSCompetitors may compete in teams of 3 or 4. Best 3 scores to count. Mixed teams in class 7.

PENALTIESIn classes 1 -6 any competitor may opt to ride the course one level below their correct class subject to a penalty of 600 points.

Sorry because we are running alongside our ODE this year you must indicate on the entry form as to whether you wish to jump down and then you will be allocated a XC time . if you are a MINI and wish to jump the MINI MINI COURSE you will need to bring your pony on Saturday, the course will not be available to jump on the Sunday. Those who wish to take part in the ODE at the same level as their tet course.please make a £5 deduction to your entry fee as they will ride the XC course once and the score will go towards both their ODE and Tet scores.

Competitors in the Classes 5 and 6 may be assisted but not led in the jumping subject to a 400 point penalty.

Competitors in Class 7 may be assisted in jumping without penalty. Where assistance includes leading rein 200 penalty points apply.

ENTRIESEntries for all classes to be with the Secretary by 2nd June 2016.

Depending on total entries it may be necessary to limit the size of each class. In such circumstances the organisers reserve the right to limit the number of entries from a single pony club in each class.

PRIZE GIVING FOR UNDER 8'S AND MINI MINI WILL BE BACK AT MONTAGUE AFTER THE SWIM ON SATURDAY.

PRIZE GIVING FOR MINI AND JUNIOR'S WILL BE AS SOON AS POSIBLE AFTER THE XC PHASE ON SUNDAY.

A MORE DETAILED TIMETABLE WILL BE POSTED ONCE WE KNOW NUMBERS.

ENTRY FEEClasses 1 - 4. £30.00

Classes 5 & 6. £26.00

Class 7. £22.00

£4 discount for all classes for additional sibiling.

£5 discount if taking part in the ODE, please indicate on the entry form if this is the case.

REFUNDS/No money will be refunded without a Doctor or Vet’s certificate. In the

CANCELLATIONSevent of cancellation, £6 of entry money will be retained to defray costs.

RULES and

Conditions1.The competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rule Book 2016 editions.

2.In the event of any query or dispute, the organisers’ decision will be final. All queries must be lodged through the TEAM MANAGER to the Event Organiser or Phase Steward.

3.Facilities will be available for food on Sunday only

4.A detailed timetable will be sent to Team Managers when all the entries have been received - by email but will also be available on the website

5.The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.

6.No claim can be entertained by the organiser's for any injury, loss or damage caused or suffered by any competitor, spectator, or any other person, vehicle or property, whether or not this said injury, loss or damage is caused by negligence of the organisers, their servants or agents. Acceptance of this disclaimer is a condition of entry.

7.No dogs are allowed.

FOR THE SWIMPlease note that swim hats must be worn. Strictly No lorries or trailers to be taken to Moira House and parking is on the roadside not in the school.

FOR THE SHOOTGuns must be kept in their cases at all times and may only be taken out when instructed to do so by the Shoot Steward. Loaders, if required, must be competent and 18 years or older. No one under the age of 8 years on the day may shoot.

FOR THE RIDEHats to current Pony Club standards and effective body protection must be worn. Horses and ponies may be shared by up to two ride.

FOR THE RUNCompetitors will run in number order
