Student Leadership Team Responsibilities

Attendance:

  • Attend Church regularly (Sunday mornings, Midweek Youth, etc)
  • Attend all monthly leadershipmeetings (You can miss 2, but you have to notify us beforehand, and you will have to do make up work for each absence).(Dates TBD)
  • Attend the Missions tripsin San Francisco and Klamath (if you can’t come, you can still be on the team, just let us know)(Dates TBD)

Money:

  • Event account: $30 (This covers food and supplies for events and meetings)
  • San Francisco Missions trip: $100
  • Klamath Camping / VBS trip: $40

At Home:

  • Bible reading, and prayer time every day

Serving in Ministry at CC Foursquare (several options below):

  • Youth
  • Sound and Media
  • Worship Team
  • Middle School Helper (High Schoolers Only)
  • Foursquare Kids (Sunday Morning, or Saturday night)
  • Nursery (Sunday Morning, or Saturday night)

Character - Above Reproach (inside and outside of church)-1 Tim 3:1-3

  • Social Media Purity and Openness (no cussing, inappropriate images, or blocking leaders)
  • Sexual Purity – No Purple – Boundaries & Accountability
  • Speech – Using your words for good, not for bad
  • Entertainment – Not watching inappropriate movies / shows / etc.
  • Finances – Tithing and Giving
  • Avoiding the Appearance of Evil – Avoiding what could even LOOK wrong.

Attitude of Servitude

The mission of the Student Leadership Team is to serve the church, to serve the community, and to raise up future leaders of the church. We strive for an attitude of servitude - not a position of power.

Phil. 2:3-4

"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."
