PULSE GUIDELINES

For Youth (12 – 17 yrs)

(Must be read fully and agreed to before completing the official Pulse Camp 2016 youth registration form)

______

Pulse Camp is open to those from 12 to 17 years of age at the time of the event.

Anyone over 18 years of age is considered an adult and may apply to attend as a leader/helper using the Pulse Camp 2016 Leaders Form.

Pulse Camp and AGI, their officers, staff and volunteers are committed to maintaining the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending our events. We want to make this week as enjoyable and fruitful as possible for all in attendance. We aim to create an atmosphere of ‘inclusivity’ rather than ‘exclusivity’, using teamwork activities to develop unity and a sense of togetherness.

With this in mind the following are very important requirements. Failure to abide by the guidelines listed below may result in sending home at parent/guardian’s own expense.

1.  Registration is at 12am Monday 25th July 2016 sharp. We will not be in a position to accept any youth onsite before this time.

2.  Departure is at 10am Saturday 30th July 2016 sharp. We will not be in a position to keep youth onsite after this time.

3.  All youth must bring sleeping bag, pillow, appropriate swimwear, towel, toiletries, old clothes, Bible, notebook, pen and co-operative attitude.

4.  All youth are asked to follow the instructions of the Pulse Camp Director, Daniel Malone and the Pulse Camp Co-Ordination Team, and are to be respectful to all leaders while on camp.

5.  Pulse Camp is an inclusive camp and we would ask that campers refrain from any romantic relationship while they are on camp.

6.  All health and dietary issues must be communicated in writing and sent along with the Pulse Camp 2016 registration form before camp.

7.  All medicines must be given to Pulse Camp staff at registration.

8.  Anti-social behavior, bullying etc will not be tolerated.

9.  Use or possession of illegal drugs, tobacco or alcohol is not permitted.

10.  All electronic devices e.g. mp3s, ipods, cameras and mobile phones will be given to leaders at registration. In our experience such items have a habit of breaking and/or ‘getting lost’. All items will be returned to owners at departure.

Pulse Camp staff will be capturing appropriate still and video photography images for future promotional use and during camp presentations. Due to Child Protection Guidelines no other photography may take place during camp.
