Fund Requests

Ice Bear Hockey

  • Request will be moved to October agenda as no one in attendance to represent Ice Bears.

Principal Discretionary Fund $4,000 – requested by Nick Senger, Activities Director.

  • $2,000 Student Assistant Fund and $2,000 for Principal Discretionary Fund
  • Used for co-circular fees, dance attendance, school related items/supplies, etc.
  • Teachers advocate for students in need via teacher referrals.
  • Fund request approved unanimously.

Secretary’s Report

June Board meeting notes presented and approved with revision to reference Jaguar newsletter not Jaguar Backer newsletter.

President’s Report

Bricks installed.

Goals and Accomplishments presented and reviewed.

Reviewed meeting guidelines.

Vice Presidents Report

Concession stand update:

  • Had a misunderstanding with parent coordinators regarding opening and closing procedures. Email sent to clarify requirements.
  • Parent coordinators identified for most sports. Wrestling parent coordinator still needed.
  • Additional concession opportunity: New Pool and New Auditorium. Email to be sent to Swim Club and AMPA to discuss Jaguar Backer support and responsibilities.
  • Need to review current concession agreements for updates and consistency.

Treasurer’s Report

Starting balance $35,113.63 – better than the last three years.

Ashwaubenon Blasts’proceeds $3,000 – attendance down this year.

Treasurer’s report and budget approved.

Jagwear Update

New apparel purchased.

System (Kajeet) used for Wi-Fi payment processing not working. Contact to be made to schools technology team to troubleshoot.

Inventory created for existing stock.

Need to order new square with chip reader $49. Purchase approved.

Activity Director’s Report

Packer giveaways:

  • All teams on board
  • No giveaway first game - Tennis bumped but will be given 1st opportunity for any playoff games

All clubs up and running.

Ashwaubenon hosting DI tournament in February.

Ashwaubenon hosting Volleyball sectional.

New auditorium and swimming pool scheduled to open first week in October.

Open discussion

Spectator representatives reached out to board members to considerusing their fundraising tool. The tool doesn’t make sense for us as we don’t have paying members for Jaguar Backers Booster Club.
