PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The primary functions include overseeing and managing the implementation of human capital initiatives in alignment with CoorsTek Medicals’business and tactical objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations – Effectively partner with CoorsTek Medical teams to develop and maintain high levels of employee engagement and to ensure adherence to established CoorsTek Medical Human Resource policies and programs.

Talent Management – Supports local leadership in processes related to workforce readiness and planning, performance management, succession planning, compensation administration and other human capital processes.

Talent Acquisition – Supports local leadership teams in sourcing, recruiting and selecting top talent. Provides training and education related to legal and effective interviewing and selection practices. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with agency recruiting resources. Partners with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure consistent and continuous communication and best-in-class process experience.

Organizational Design and Capability – Partners with leadership teams to assess organizational structure and the skills and competencies required now and in the future to ensure success. Through sound understanding of competency requirements, assists with identifying and implementing training and development initiatives to support strategic objectives.

Policy Development and Administration – Collaborates with CoorsTek Medical HR leadership and business site leaders to develop, implement and maintain effective employment policies and procedures. Ensures organizational compliance to relevant state and federal employment laws and organization policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related degree

Three years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing and/or engineering services setting.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to establish project plans, coordinate cross-functional resources, and execute against established timelines.

Ability to develop and deploy effective recruiting strategies for positions across multiple disciplines/professions and at all organizational levels.

Experience in developing and facilitating training programs.

Ability to apply general business acumen to assess, diagnose and effectively solve complex challenges.

Strong working knowledge of and demonstrated ability to effectively apply state and local employment laws.

Ability to communicate effectively through all mediums to all levels of the organization.

Professional certification (PHR, SPHR) strongly preferred.
