PARISH NOTES
Thankyou : as we appoint new officers at our Annual Vestry Meeting today can I please say I sincere thankyou to all who have served as officers and Parish representatives over the past 12 months. If anyone would like to serve in the coming year please complete the nomination form before the meeting today.
Open Church : the church is open daily from 10 am. to 12 midway for quietness and prayer. Please let people know the church is open and welcoming to all.
Parish Meal : FRIDAY 29th APRIL at 7 pm. in Morriston Golf Club. We will be sharing this with our friends from Llangyfelach and LLansamlet Parishes. A quiz will be held raising money for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal. The cost of the meal is £14 ( 3 Course ) - please see sheet at back of church for details and to book your places.

Lent Collection : a collection plate is at the back of church for donations to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal for charity. THIS COLLECTION WILL CLOSE TODAY
Concert : in aid of Chernobyl Children’s lifeline will take place here in St. David’s on Sunday 17th April at 5 p.m. Details and tickets NOW AVAILABLE FROM SUE THORPE.

Social Committee : those who worked so hard for our Christmas Fete will know that the numbers attending and supporting was very disappointing considering all the work a number had put into the evening. The PCC have taken the decision not to hold a fete this year but to look for new social and fundraising ideas. If you would like to be part of this group we would be VERY pleased - please let the Wardens know. A meeting will be held soon.
