The classes will be run under WAO rules including the strict running order rules. Bitches in season will be allowed to run in the class and will run in their order as per WAO rules. Those of you with Bitches in Season please be respectful to the rest of the show and you are only allowed to run in the try out classes. If you have not got a WAO Measure you will need to do so before the event starts if in the 3 lower heights. Good Luck

Measuring Dogs – will take place near the secretary’s at a time announced on the day. All dogs competing below MAXI must be measured, if they have not already done so previously; but they can run at the show if measuring has not yet taken place. Dogs competing in MAXI do not need measuring. This is free to all registered dogs. A fee will be charged to TBYB (to go towards the registration fee).

Checking in at the ring - All competitors in classes where less than 50 dogs are entered must pre book at the ring by checking off their name on the call sheets. If you do not check in, the class will not wait for you. YOU MAY ONLY CHECK IN FOR THE CLASS THAT IS CURRENTLY BEING WALKED AND NOT FOR THE ENTIRE DAY!

Change of Handlers - Please DO NOT change the scribe sheets from the owner of the dog if there is a change of handler.

Move-ups - If you have collected enough points to move to the next level, please notify the secretary, and obtain revised scribe sheets for this show. Email the to inform of a move up for any future shows you have entered. If a show has passed its’ closing date, you will need to obtain revised scribe sheets at thatshow also.

Your Results - As a competitor you are responsible for checking your scribe sheet. Please do so straight after your run or once it has been entered in the computer. If you believe a mistake has been made then this needs to be clarified with the judge ASAP. If the judge is unable to remember your run then the scribe sheet result will stand. If there is a problem with the result sheet we will refer to the scribe sheet. It is your responsibility to contact the UKA office within 6 weeks if you believe the official online results are incorrect.

Late Entry Policy - All late entries will be charged at £4.00 a run. UKA numbers for both dog and handler must be provided. Swapping entries from one dog to another or from one day to another is not allowed. If this is required then a late entry fee will be charged. If you do not fill out the scribe sheet correctly, your result may be void.

Prize Giving’s - Will occur only after all heights per class have been completed. We will display a list of prize giving’s done, so please refer to that. If you have missed your prize giving, please claim your rosette near the secretary’s office. We would be grateful if you would refrain from interrupting while prize giving’s are in progress. Unclaimed rosettes must be claimed by sending an SAE, stating result, to the UKA office received within 7 days of the show. After this time unfortunately you will not be able to claim late prizes.
