AUTUMN 6: 13th October 2017

Assembly Theme

Our assembly theme next week willbe “Thoughtfulness.”

Aylmerton Trip

Class 4 have had a wonderful week in Norfolk learning about the formation of the coastal landscape, gaining a deeper understanding of settlements and developing social skills.

They celebrated their last night away with a disco. Thank you to all the staff involved. They will all sleep well over the weekend! Many thanks also to the PTA who subsidised this trip.

Class 3 Multi Skills

Class 3 travelled to Katherine Semar School on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the USSP Multi Skills event. The children tried a variety of different sporting activities and all enjoyed themselves.

Harvest Festival/Stand up to Cancer day: Thursday 19th October, 2pm

As part of our Harvest Festival celebration we are raising money for Cancer Research’s Stand Up to Cancer Day. Thursday will be a non-school uniform day, in exchange for a suggested donation of £1. Children may wish to wear the SUTC Day colours of red/orange/yellow, although this is optional. There will also be wristbands available to purchase at a cost of £1 each.

Our Harvest Service will take place at 2pm in the School Hall and everyone is welcome. Please bring in donations of tinned and packet goods, fruit, vegetables or home baked items (no nuts please), which will be sold after the Assembly.

I anticipate that the Assembly will last approximately ½ hour followed by the sale of goods and drawing of the raffle; you will be free to take your child/children home after the sale, providing you let the Class teacher know that they are going home.

I do hope you will be able to join us for our Harvest celebration and help us to support this worthwhile charity.
