Driving Directions to ConocoPhillips, 600 N. Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77079:
- From I-10 take Eldridge north to Dairy Ashford (1st traffic signal north of I-10).
- Turn right (east) on Dairy Ashford.
- Go to the second driveway on the left, ConocoPhillips Gate B.
- Stop at the guard shack. They will provide directions to reception.
Safety Video:
- If a person has not been to ConocoPhillips within the past few months and has not viewed the safety video, it will be required on the next visit. This is a short video describing safety in and around our complex. It takes 5-10 minutes extra at the registration desk to accomplish this mandatory task.

- Welcome, Safety Briefing
Tom Nations of ConocoPhillips give a welcome and safety briefing.

New attendees to the meeting introduce themselves and their involvement with gas-liftautomation.

These are people that were considered to be added to the Work Group roster at the July 15, 2009 meeting. What is their status?

- People. There were no new suggestions for people to add to the Work Group roster..
- Gaps. There were no new suggestions for gaps that need to be filled.
- Draft of API RP 19G12 (This will be the heart of the meeting)
The draft of API RP 19G12 has been updated based on the results of the Sept. 22, 2009 meeting and some work since that meeting.
The outline of the document is on Page 6 – 14. These outlines are being updated at this time. The objective at this time is to complete review, update, and enhancement of the outline so work can begin on the document itself.
When information is supplied for each section, it will be placed in the draft of the document itself, which begins on Page 19. When the document is fully drafted, the portions from Page 3 – 14 will be removed.
At this meeting we will:
- Review the draft outline of the API RP 19G12 document. Make additions, deletions, changes as needed.
-Several people have already contributed to review, update, and enhancement of the section outlines.
-Others will be added to the document as they are submitted.
- The primary goal of this meeting is to review and approve the outline for the document so the authors of the various sections can begin work on their sections.
- Review action parties for each section. Make new assignments if needed.
- Agree on target dates for drafting of each section.

- We reviewed the outline of the document and made several significant improvements. The document is attached with these minutes.
- We agree that the information there is more of a list of issues to be addressed than an outline.
- The leader(s) of each section are to use this information to create an actual outline for each section.
- Once there is an outline, the leader(s) of each section are authorized to now begin work on the actual text of each section.

- John Green. He would like to be involved with control algorithms and data collection.
- Neil de Guzman. He will work on the intelligent systems.
- Keith Fangmeier. He will clarify and expand his sections, add pictures, etc.

- The next meeting of API RP 19G12will beon Feb. 5, 2010, from1:00 – 3:00 pm, CST. It will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Greenspoint Area, Houston, Texas; the same location as the 2010 Gas-Lift Workshop.
- The next meeting of API RP 19G13 will be on Feb. 5, 2010, from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
- The next meeting of the API 19G Task Group will be on Feb. 2, 2010, from 10:00 to 12:00.
- The next meeting of API RP 19G11will be on Feb. 5, 2010, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
