EXPERIENCE Aided 1st grade teacher in a multi-age inclusion classroom. Provided help to students individually in basic fine motor skills, whole group learning, and hands on activities. Learned a variety of behavior management techniques and teaching strategies for students with special needs and severe learning disabilities, especially autism, ages 5-7, in a 10:1:1 setting.

Observed classroom of 5th grade “blended” education students. Classroom consisted of a combination of learning disabled and non-learning disabled children, in a 16:1:1 setting. Focused observation on teacher-student interaction, various teaching methods, and behavior management procedures. Curriculum consisted of core subjects.

Provided support to a 6th grade general education classroom. Lectures consisted of math lessons. Worked one-on-one with students in correcting homework and with further explanation of topics. Participated in activities and observed behavior management. 20:1 setting.
