This assignment will go account for 35% of your final mark. Considering this, your work should be neatly done. Descriptions and observations should be made in well-constructed sentences. You have the option to do the entire assignment or any part of it on computer. Parts not done on computer should be done on graph paper and in pencil. The entire assignment should be no more than three pages.

Imagine you are finished with your education. You have graduated or been certified in the work of your own choosing. You have been hired to do the job you have trained for. You will now need to spend the money you are earning. (A budget)

1) Briefly describe your job. State your monthly gross salary. State your monthly net salary. Gross income minus deductions equals net income. Deductions for our purposes will only be income tax. You can find some information on income tax deduction rates on the internet.

2) In a chart, describe how your gross monthly salary will be accounted for in both dollars and percents. The chart must have at least 6 but no more than 9 categories of spending.

This graph will display the dollar amounts of spending. The graph should be about 10 cm by 15 cm (not postage stamp size and not ridiculously big).

The chart should be about 10 cm to 15 cm in diameter (not postage stamp size and not ridiculously big). The percentages of amount spent should be displayed somewhere on the chart. There should be a legend.

5) Based on the work you have done make one observation about your life as presented in the assignment. Don’t tell me you spend the most money on the highest bar, I can see that. Your observation should be about the overall picture, about your life style.
