6.1 - Educational Gains
Student outcome measures are the central measures of the NRS. Educational gain, a key outcome in the NRS, provides a measure of student literacy gains resulting from instruction. The following measures are for percent of enrolled adults who demonstrated improvements in literacy skill levels in reading, writing and speaking the English language in comparison to the West Virginia performance measures.
