StuCo Announcements
-Killough’s Annual Talent Show is revving up...do you have what it takes to show off your talents and win? Application/signup info for tryouts are posted outside room 226!
-The Halloween carnival is tonight at main so go take a break after taking midterms and go have fun!
-Tomorrow's dress up day is pajama day, so show up in your comfiest pajamas ready to ace your midterms!
-Freshman football boys plays at LD Bell tonight and our JV boys play at home so go watch JV play at the only home game this week!
Counselor Announcement
Students, as we reach the end of the nine weeks, be sure to check Skyward for any changes to your schedule. These are less common at the 9 weeks, but can happen, for a variety of different reasons. It’s nothing to stress about, just be sure to go in and check your schedule in Skyward before class on Monday.
Open Gym Announcement
Today during block lunch we will have basketball during open gym.
Please come join us and remember that food and drink are not permitted at any time.
Football Game Announcement
The Farmers will be playing LD Bell @ Pennington Field on Friday, Oct 27th @ 7:30 pm
Presale tickets are available in the office during lunch until Thursday.
$4.00 students / $6.00 adults
LHS Killough does not sell tickets on game days. Tickets at the gate are $8.00
Boys Basketball Announcement
Boys Basketball Tryouts will be held Saturday October 28th 2017 at Lewisville High School Main Campus at 11:00am.
To tryout you will need to have a physical and be passing all your classes. If you do not have a physical you will not be able try out. When the coaches check your grades if you are failing a class you will not be able to try out. See you at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Bus Information for Friday Schedule Announcement
Students who have class at Main, DJCC, or CCE need to catch buses to LHS MAIN from their house (if they have bus service to Main) or they can catch
327 shuttle at to Main from Killough at 8:00 AM. There will not be any buses directly from Killough to the career centers. Use the bus locator under ³schools² on the LISD website to find out if you have a bus from your address to LHS Main.
Cups of Ice and Water in the Halls Announcement
Students, due to the number of ice and water spills that are occurring around the campus and in classrooms, you are not permitted to have them in the halls or classrooms. If you come from the bus with them, please discard prior to entering the building. If you have them in the cafeteria in the morning, please discard BEFORE coming down the main hallway. You may still carry water only in containers that seal completely (not cups with straws).
LHS NJROTC Booster Fundraiser Announcement
Thursday, October 26, at Panda Express on Main Street between 10 am to 11 pm. Please come and support the NJROTC cadets.
Weightlifting Club Announcement
There is no weight club today during block lunch because Mr. Roper is off-campus today.
