Position Summary:

Underthesupervision oftheQualityManagementandBillingSpecialist,theQualityAssuranceAssistantwillprovidedataandadministrativesupporttoaidinensuringcompliancewithvarious standards asdictatedbyCRHand countypoliciesandprocedures. TheQualityAssuranceAssistantcomesintocontactwithconfidentialinformationandassuchmustmaintainthedepartmentand agency’sstrictstandards ofconfidentiality.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Updatingvarious databasesto assist in managingclinicalstaff and various programs
  • Collect,logandfileall requireddocumentation
  • HandlingofinquiriesfromCRHstaffregardingsubmitteddocumentation
  • Running reports andassistingintheprocessingofnecessarycorrections
  • VerifyingMedi-Caleligibility
  • Clericalsupportworkfor Clinical Teamasneeded.
  • Assistingwithmaintenanceof archivestorage forclientfiles,andelimination ofoutdatedmaterial
  • Responsibleforbasicdata entry
  • Performotherdutiesasassigned.

Qualifications:

Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutysatisfactorily.Therequirementslistedbelowarerepresentativeoftheknowledge,skill,and/orabilityrequired.Abilitytoworkvariedhoursincludingnights,weekendsandholidays.Reasonableaccommodationsmaybemadetoenableindividualswith disabilities toperformtheessentialfunctions.

Education/Experience:

  • Possession of anAssociate’sDegreeorequivalent isrequired.
  • Twoyearsofclericalortechnicalrelatedexperienceusingspecializedofficeprogramsis required.
  • Demonstrated knowledgeof medical billingis preferred

  • Aminimumoftwoyears’experienceingeneralofficetasksisrequired.
  • Experienceworkingwithcomputer dataentryandMicrosoftWord andExcelis required.
  • Courseworkincomputerscience, business administrationorrelatedfieldsisdesirable.

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:

  • Mustpossess avalidCalifornia Driver’sLicense,areliable automobile,andautoinsurance.
  • Mustbeatleast 21yearsofage.
  • MustpassFirstAid,CPR,andBloodbornePathogenscertificationcoursesofferedthroughtheChildren’sReceivingHome withinthefirstthreemonthsofemployment.
  • Must maintainCPR,FirstAidandBBP Certificationthroughoutemployment.
  • Must completeonlineMandatedReporterTrainingCourse withinfirst week ofemployment.

Physical Demands:

While performing theduties ofthis job,theemployeeisregularlyrequired tostand;walk;use handsandtalkorhear.Finemotor skillssuchastyping, theuseofa computer mouse andtelephone handset is required.

Employeeisfrequentlyrequiredtoreachwithhandsandarms.Theemployeeisrequiredtosit,stoop,kneelandcrouch.Theemployeemust occasionallyliftand/ormoveupto30pounds.Specificvisionabilitiesrequiredbythisjobincludeclosevision,distance vision,peripheralvision,depthperceptionandabilitytoadjustfocus.
