Erewash Valley Gymnastics Club – Full time Gymnastics Coach

We are a prominent local children's gymnastics club looking for two new full-time Gymnastic Coaches’ to work within our facility in Long Eaton. EVGC are rapidly expanding with over 880 members currently.

EVGC offers a wide range of disciplines including Preschool, Women’s and Men’s Artistic, Tumbling, Rhythmic, General Gym and FreeG.

We are looking for enthusiast individuals who enjoy working with children and have a passion for gymnastics and developing a child’s ability right from the beginning.

Listed below are options for full time positions. We are a flexible club so please put anything you think is relevant to becoming a full time gymnastics coach.

For part time positions, you will be paid on an hourly rate and hours are flexible to suit your needs. Please in an application form stating PART TIME.

Job Description - WA

Work within our Women’s Artistic program coaching regional and national groups

Basic administrative & reporting duties
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all of the premises as well as the equipment
Deliver activity classes for children of all ages as well as school groups

Willingness is attend coaching related courses and outside events when requested

Personal Specification

Essential
Willingness to take BG coaching qualifications

Self-motivated, confident, outgoing & enthusiastic
Previous experience of working with children in a gymnastics club environment
Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Flexible attitude to working requirements to meet the needs of EVGC
Up to date CRB and Safeguarding certificates (full checks will be conducted for the successful candidates)

The want to increase current qualifications

Desirable

Level 1/2 Women’s Artistic Coaching Qualification
Knowledge of the Women’s Artistic competitive structure and levels
Ability to assist with the development and delivery of new ideas, techniques as well as new types of classes

Experience in running/helping coordinate events related to gymnastics

Job Description - GFA

Work with children to help them develop their gymnastic skills in our recreational and advanced classes
Work within our preschool classes

Work to develop our current FreeG classes and Adults classes
