PMP Study Group

The KC Mid-America Chapter of PMI is happy to announce the formation ofthe 2008June / July PMP Study Group.

This study group will run for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings 6:00-8:00 PM from June 3rd through July 8th. TwoPMBOK®knowledge areas will be covered each week.The format of the sessions is open discussion and walkthrough of sample exam questions with PMP proctors providing guidance and insights into how the questions should be answered. The sessions are very interactive but, this is not a PMP Prep Class.

Fees

The base cost of the Study Group is$60 for KC Mid-America chapter members and $85 for non-members. Crosswind Project Management materials will be used with this session and their Exam Simulation software is included with the fee. Additional Crosswind Study materials are available for purchase during registration: Crosswinds Cheat Sheet (a.k.a. Placemat Vol. 1) for $12, PMP Exam Success Series Certification Exam Manual for $54. Both items are highly recommended unless you already have something comparable.Study Group Participants should also have a copy of ThePMBOK® Guide, Third Edition (2005) and bring it to each session for reference. All PMI members receive a free CD copy of the PMBOK® Guide when they become members or when a new edition is published.

The Study Group is not a Class

It is important to note that a PMP Study Group is not a PMP Prep Class. Study Group participants should have already met the education requirement for their PMP Application and be in the final stages of their exam preparations.
