ORDER:

As per G.O.ms.No.57 CA,F&CS(CSI(1)) Dept dated 13-05-2005, the Annual Income limit for issuance of white Ration card has been fixed at Rs.20,000/- P.A. and Rs.24,000/- P.A. in Rural and Urban areas respectively. The Income Criteria for sanction of Pre Matric Scholarship is Rs. 12,000/- P.A. for Post Matric Scholarship is R.33,500/- P.A. and Rs.44,500/- P.A. for PG and Professional Courses are being followed by the Minorities Welfare Dept.

2. Government of India, Ministry of Minority Affairs, have fixed annual income of Rs.1.00 lakh for sanction of Pre Matric Scholarships and Rs.2.00 lakhs and Rs.2.50 lakhs for Post Matric and Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship to Minority communities respectively.

3. In the circumstances above, the Vice Chairman/Managing Director, A.P.State Minorities Finance Corporation has requested to revise the present Annual Income ceiling to Rs.1.00 lakh P.A. for sanction of Pre and Post Matric Scholarships to Minority communities.

4. After careful examination of the entire matter, Govt. have decided to enhance existing ceiling limit of Income of parents of Minority students pursuing Pre Matric and Post Matric scholarships to Rs.1,00,000/- from Rs.20,000/- and Rs.24,000/- as case may be, subject to meet the additional commitment in this regard within the budget provision of 2008-09.

5. The income certificate shall be issued by the concerned MRO/Tahsilder after verification of income of the parents.

6. This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance Dept. vide their U.O.No.5247/FS(FP)/2008, Dated 23-06-2008.
