NCSA Honors Antonucci
With Distinguished Service Medal
Cleveland —Mark Antonucci, Managing Partner - Ohio, for Carlin Group, was presented with the NCSA Distinguished Service Medal during the Candy Hall of Fame weekend, October 13 to 15, in Tampa, FL.
The medal is given to an Association member who has shownsteadfast service and dedication working on behalf of the NCSA and its signature event, the Candy Hall of Fame.
Antonucci served as president of the Association from 2011 to 2013, sat on its Board of Directors for 15 years and was its Chairman for a two-year term. In addition, he is active in the Northern Ohio AGMR Association.
“Born into the industry, following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps, Mark has never let the NCSA down. His good humor and dedication is evident in all he does, and that has also carried him through more than 40 years in the industry,” says John Leipold, NCSA President & CEO.
A 2003 Candy Hall of Fame inductee, Antonuccibegan his career in 1974, at E. Pellegatti and Co., a brokerage founded in 1942 by his grandfather.The company later became R.L. Antonucci Associates, which named Mark its president of sales in 1982.
“What an honor to be included in such an elite group of people who have been given this award in the past,” Antonucci says. “I am very grateful to be involved with the NCSA, it is a great organization and the people involved are what make this so wonderful.”

The NCSA, formed in 1899, is built on a foundation of Peer Recognition, Fellowship, Mentoring and Education, as a means of furthering the positive growth and acceptance of confectionery products. The Association established the Candy Hall of Fame in 1971 to recognize the lifetime career achievements of individuals in the confectionery industry. Induction is based on dedication to the overall betterment of the industry and the category.
