Jody Gatwood, B.S., The Juilliard School, Studied with Ivan Galamian at The Juilliard School, and also with Josef Gingold. Winner of the Kosciuszko Foundation's Wieniawski Prize and a prize winner in the Montreal International Competition. He performed in the White House Orchestra of the U. S. Marine Band,the Kennedy Center's Fortas Chamber Music Series, at the Library of Congress, Phillips Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, and The National Gallery of Art and as concertmaster (now Concertmaster Emeritus) of The National Philharmonic. Cited by Yehudi Menuhin in 1991 as "an extraordinarily fine violinist and musician." Named "Teacher of the Year" in 1996 by the American String Teachers Association.

Michael Mermagen, (M.M. The Juilliard School, B.M. The Peabody Conservatory of Music), made his debut at the age of sixteen with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra after being the recipient of its Young Soloist's Award. Michael studied with Paula Skolnick-Childress, Mihaly Virizlay, Stephen Kates at the Peabody Conservatory, and Zara Nelsova at the Juilliard School. Was soloist with the National Orchestra of New York, where he held the prestigious Emanuel Feuermann principal cello chair. Michael tours regularly with The Aspen Ensemble; he toured with the American Chamber Players He performs on a Nicolo Gagliano cello, Naples, 1774.

Prizewinner of international piano competitions and a Bösendorfer Artist, Ivo Kaltchev is enjoying a successful performing career as recitalist, soloist with orchestras, chamber musician and recording artist. "Formidable technique" (Piano Journal, England), "superb musicianship" (Phar, Israel), "distinctive and original" (Soviet Culture, Russia), "glittering,” “ big technique" (The Washington Post), Dr. Kaltchev has performed in musical centers throughout the world, including the Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Kennedy Center, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory Malii and Rachmaninov Halls, St. Petersburg State Philharmonic Hall, and the Teatro Verdi (Salerno, Italy). Currently, Dr. Kaltchev is Chair of the Piano Division at the Catholic University of America, Visiting Professor at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China and Co-Director of the Washington International Piano Festival in D.C.
