Parents Information Sheet

Dear Parent,

Your son/daughter has registered for and has been offered( or is waiting for) a place in

Dunshaughlin Foróige Youth Cafe Club.

This Club will be run by young people for young people with the help of trained adult leaders who will be giving up their time on a voluntary basis. The club aims to involve the members in a range of challenging and rewarding activities in the community.

All the activities will be supervised by the adult leaders. To ensure that the club runs smoothly, safely, is enjoyable and benefits the members we need your co-operation on a couple of points, so please read the following carefully.

Parents Responsibility

  1. The leader’s responsibility begins when the clubs starts at 8pm and ends at 9.30pm. Outside of these times the members are no longer the responsibility of the leaders.
  2. As parent/guardian it is your responsibility to drop off and collect your son/daughter at these times, or at different times should you be advised otherwise by the leaders
  3. There may be times when we will need extra hands to help out in the club, such as on trips away, during special club events etc., as the ratio of adult leaders to members needs to be higher. During these times, for the safety and well being of your child we will be calling on you to help out and we look forward to your co-operation.
