Sometimes it’s easier to get a document printed by sending a PDF. You can print this to a PDF by installing Cute PDF (which is free) or by using a later version of Word.

Delete the flag or make the text size slightly smaller if you need more room for text in the header.

The placard is intended to be printed on one 11”x17” sheet.

Fedex (formerly Kinko’s) will print it in color and laminate it (specify laminating with protruding edges) for about $7.00.

Suggestions for the Additional Information section:

·  History of the marque or model.

·  History of the car itself. Where it was purchased, how it was restored, etc.

·  World events that occurred the year the car was born.

·  Anything else you think might be interesting or relevant.

You can upload the file to FedEx web site and specify 11x14, color, laminated with edges. Then pick it up when it’s ready. Other print shops probably have the same capabilities.
