7th Grade Math Textbook

Saraland Middle School is fortunate to have wonderful math resources for students. The textbooks provide students with a variety of ways and opportunities to succeed in math, both in and out of the classroom. The textbooks titles are as follows: Math Connects, Course 1 for 6th grade; Math Connects, Course 2 for 7th grade; and, Math Connects, Course 3 for 8th grade. Along with the textbook, students have access to Glencoe/McGraw-Hill’s website that is filled with numerous resources. For Example, the website includes the full textbook, practice and re-teaching worksheets, personal tutors, animations, and virtual manipulatives.
We, being the math teachers and administration, feel this website is a very valuable resource for students. Below, you will find the instructions where to register your child.
Directions:
1. Go to http://connected.mcgraw-hill.com/connected/login.do
2. Click on the gold button “Create a new account”
3. Type in the following Redemption Code: BEFT-85S9-LLPQ
4. Click Register
5. Type in the student’s first name and last initial
6. Click “Finish”
7. A screen will pop up that has the student’s password. Print this page and then click “Continue”
8. You will see the book pop up on the screen. Click on the cover and the textbook, along with all of the resources available to the students are at the click of the mouse. Enjoy!!!
Having the textbook available online, we are asking parents to choose one of the following options. We can check out a textbook to your child, check out a CD-ROM copy of the textbook/resources, or you can simply choose to use the online website for the textbook and online resources. The website is the only way students have access to the additional resources.
