MINUTES – REGULAR MEETING – OCTOBER 27, 2015

The regular meeting of the Campbell City Schools’ Board of Education was held at 7:00 p.m. in the K-7 Cafetorium. President Beth Donofrio presided and led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The following members were present to roll call: Mr. Gary Bednarik, Mr. Richard Gozur Sr., Mr. Tony Kelly, Mr. Bill Valentino, and Mrs. Beth Donofrio.

A moment of silence was held for Leigh Yallech and Nadine Bednarik, who recently passed away.

The treasurer presented the minutes of the regular meeting held September 23, 2015, subject to any corrections or omissions.

II. RESOLUTION #2015-194: It is recommended by the treasurer to the Board of Education that it approve the financial reports, payment of bills, and Then and Now Certificates, as presented in the treasurer’s report.

III. RESOLUTION #2015-195: It is recommended by the treasurer to the Board of Education that it approve the District’s Five-Year Forecast for submission to the Ohio Department of Education by October 31, 2015.

RESOLUTION #2015-200: It is recommended by the superintendent to the Board of Education that it approve an agreement between Rea & Associates and Campbell City Schools to provide services verifying data reported on the Medicaid School Program Agency Cost Report for the dates ending 2014, 2015, and 2016 at a cost of $1,900.00. (The agreement is on file in the treasurer’s office.)

RESOLUTION #2015-202: It is recommended by the superintendent to the Board of Education that it approve the employment of ANNA BEECH to work on an as needed basis at a rate of $25.00 per hour from November 16, 2015 through December 31, 2015 to provide school psychologist services necessary for student identification and testing to ensure the District meets all compliance requirements as defined by law.
