1. What do I receive as a participant?
a. Free event t-shirt, food, water bottle, and the pride of knowing that you out ran a zombie horde.
2. I signed up to run but now I can’t, can I get a refund?
a. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds. This race and event is a fundraiser for the Buffalo Gap Historic Village. Your registration fee helps us preserve the historic buildings.
3. Will the 1 mile family race be scary?
a. No, the “zombies” are fully aware that there will be young children participating. They will not frighten the children; rather serve more as a funny sight alongside the road.
4. What if I’m too tired or unable to crawl over/under/around an obstacle?
a. There will be room to the left and right of every obstacle for anyone to go around the obstacle due to inhibiting factors such as injuries or strollers. Going around an obstacle will not save you time.
5. Can my friends sign up to run on race day?
a. Yes, registration is open until 8:30am on May 4, 2013.
6. How much is it to watch the race and participate in the post-race party?
a. Admission to the party and as a race spectator is only $15!
7. Do spectators receive t-shirts?
a. Unfortunately, only race participants receive free t-shirts. T-shirts will be for sale at the Buffalo Gap Historic Village gift shop at the event!
8. Where do I park on race day?
a. There is a map with available parking (free!). However, we highly suggest you carpool. Please park ONLY in designated spots.
9. What do I do with my bib number?
a. After the race, hang onto your bib number – it’s your ticket into the event and it will get you 20% off all merchandise in the Buffalo Gap Historic Village Gift Shop!
