The 2015 Fall meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Sidelines Bar & Pub in Cambridge.

Motion by Chisago Lakes, Second by Rum River “To accept the minutes from the July Playoff meeting.”
Motion Approved.
2015 Season Review
Trophies - Stan Peterson presented the following trophies:
2015 Eastern Minnesota East League Champion and Playoff Champion to Mora.
2015 Eastern Minnesota West League Co-Champions to Nowthen and Rum River.
2015 Eastern Minnesota West League Playoff Champion to Sartell Stone Poneys.
Season Review - All teams reported positive results about the season. All teams appear to have some player commitment issues that can cause inconsistent team play. A negative the past few years has been that teams advancing to the State Tournament have not been able to win a game in the tournament.
Umpire Review – Umpires felt all teams had good behavior and cooperation.
League Playoffs- The League receive $1,801.00 from the two day one site games. A discussion was held concerning the scheduling of games. The issue concerned whether attendance should be considered when planning the playoff schedule.
Region Review – Teams were satisfied with how the tournament was run. The 2016 tournament is scheduled to be held in Sartell if a bid is received. A discussion was held concerning what improvements to the Sartell field are planned before the 2016 tournament. The Sartell Stone Poneys reported that a plan to level the infield has be indicated. However, the Stone Poneys would not be hosting the tournament, the Sartell Muskies team is the one that would be providing the 2016 bid.
Website – No comments were provided concerning the website. Derrick Hinds reported that he has added Eastern Minnesota League and Region information to the MBA website.
New Business
New Teams – No new teams have officially contacted the League for membership. Princeton and North Branch were mentioned as possibly having a team in 2016.
By-Laws Committee – Stan Peterson, Jay Pautzke, Dennis Brennan. Recommendations to the By-Laws or the Constitution should be sent to the committee.
Preseason Tournament – Exploring the possibility of a tournament before the start of the 2016 League schedule
was discussed. The tournament could include all teams in both Eastern Minnesota Leagues playing against each other.
Another possibility could be the Eastern Minnesota League teams playing teams in another league (i.e. Victory Leagues, etc.). This will be readdressed at the 2016 Organization meeting.
MBA Annual Meeting- October 17, 2015 East Side VFW, St. Cloud
Meeting schedule: 1:00 MBA Regular meeting, 3:00 Region and Section Commissioners meeting, 4:30 Annual meeting.
