Your travelers can access the following services on their wireless devices.
Service / DescriptionMy Flights / Displays traveler’s air segments. Traveler may rebook flights according to your rebook policy. Traveler may make or change seat assignments.
Notify / Allows traveler to receive flight change notification and provide notification to other parties such as spouse or assistants.
Flight Information / Displays up-to-the-minute arrival, departure, and gate information for scheduled airlines. Also, traveler may be notified of another traveler’s flight status.
My Cars / Displays traveler’s rental car bookings. Traveler may cancel a car booking.
My Hotels / Displays traveler’s hotel bookings. Traveler may cancel a hotel booking or display directions to hotel.
View Trip / Displays any trip by reservation number and name.
My Trips / Displays the traveler’s trips by date, including air, car, and hotel information.
flightTRACKER / Offers real-time geographic and avionics information regarding active flights, including altitude, rate of speed, and proximity to major cities.
Flight Schedule / Displays detailed listing of scheduled flights for particular city pairs and specified dates and times.
Weather / Notifies traveler of weather at destination 24 hours before flight.

You should perform the following tasks in this order when you start using Galileo Wireless™.
1. Log on.
2. Edit your sponsor profile (if you need to change the original information).
3. Add or edit bundles of Wireless services (if you want to offer a different combination of services than those in the original default bundle(s)).
- Add agent profiles.
- Add traveler profiles.
- Edit personal information.
- Edit bundle assignments (if you want to offer a traveler different services than those in the default bundle(s)).
- Edit notification messages.
- Edit wireless devices.
- Log off.
11. Enter the TID in the traveler’s Personal file in the Apollo® or Galileo® system.
12. Provide traveler-specific information for the Traveler’s Quick Reference.

Agents and travelers can log on to the Galileo Wireless website on a personal computer. The recommended browsers for using Galileo WirelessTM administration are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Version 4 or higher; or Netscape, Version 4 or higher. Follow these steps to log on to Galileo Wireless.
1. To access the Galileo Wireless home page, on your Internet browser, type the URL:
http://wireless.galileo.com and press Enter.
2. Click the Log on link on the top right corner of the screen.
The wireless.galileo.com login screen appears.
3. Type your case-sensitive User ID and password. Then click Login.
The Wireless home page appears with the administrative topics on the lower left side of the screen.

Administrative topics, listed on the left side of the web site, allow you to maintain information on your travel agency, agents, and travelers. You can also view help and troubleshooting information for Galileo Wireless. You maintain the last three topics on this list.

Traveler Profiles

Traveler profiles contain a traveler’s address, telephone number, e-mail address, security, wireless device information, and the traveler’s service packages (bundles). Galileo Wireless assigns a Traveler ID (TID) to each new traveler profile. When you enter the TID in the traveler’s passenger name record/booking file (PNR/BF), the traveler can access reservations on the designated wireless device. Agent managers and agents can add and edit traveler profiles and edit bundle assignments. Travelers can edit their own profiles when they log on to the wireless.galileo.com website from their personal computers.
Adding Traveler Profiles
Follow these steps to add a traveler profile.
1. On the Wireless home page, click the plus sign (+) beside Travelers to expand the topic, and click New.
The Traveler screen appears.
2. Refer to the following table to complete this screen. All fields are required unless otherwise specified. All fields are case-sensitive.
Field / DescriptionFirst Name, Middle Initial, Last Name / Traveler’s name. Middle initial is optional.
Important: Last name must appear exactly the same on the traveler profile and PNR/BF.
Address1 and 2 / Home address.Address 2 is optional.
City / Home city.
State/Province / Official post office abbreviation for state or province. Required for United States and Canada.
Zip/Postal Code / Zip code or postal code. Required for United States and Canada.
Country / Select country from list.
Phone / Area code and telephone number.
Company / Company name.
Address1 and 2 / Company address. Address 2 is optional.
City / Company city.
State/Province / Official post office abbreviation for state or province. Required for United States and Canada.
Zip/Postal Code / Zip code or postal code. Required for United States and Canada.
Country / Select from list.
Phone / Area code and telephone number.
Sort keys 1,2,3,4,5 / A 1-10 character description, such a company name, division, or department, used to associate members of the same group on reports. These fields are optional.
Important: Consistency is important. Descriptions are case-sensitive and spelling must be consistent. Each description should be associated with the same sort key. (If Acme is the description for sort key 1 for one traveler, Acme should appear in the sort key 1 description for all other members of that group.)
Date format / To override default, select date format from list to appear on wireless device.
Note: System defaults are based on host system (Apollo or Galileo). Sponsor or traveler can override defaults.
Time format / To override default, select time format from list to appear on wireless device.
Temperature format / To override default, select temperature format from list to appear on wireless device.
Use sponsor defaults / To allow the sponsor default rebook policy to apply to this traveler, check the checkbox.
To prevent future changes to the sponsor default rebook policy from applying to this traveler, clear the checkbox.
Rebook Policy / To override the sponsor default rebook policy for this traveler, select a policy.
Allow travelers to use out of policy flights / To permit the traveler to override the rebook policy, check the checkbox.
User Name / Case-sensitive 5-30 character name that the traveler uses to log on to wireless.galileo.com from a personal computer. Traveler can view Help and sponsor information, edit traveler profile, customize screens and complete a survey.
Recommendation: Leave this field blank. Then the TID becomes the user name.
PIN, Verify PIN / A 4-8 character number that the traveler uses to log on to Galileo Wireless from a wireless device or personal computer.
Hint / 2-40 character hint to help traveler remember the security code.
Example: Dog’s name
Security code / Code, such as mother’s maiden name or dog’s name (specified in the hint), Travel agent can ask for security code if traveler cannot remember PIN. Travel agent can also access traveler profile by TID and Security Code.
Example: Spot
E-mail / E-mail address where you can send messages to the traveler regarding changes to reservations.
3. Click Add.
The Traveler Profile screen appears. Notice the Traveler ID (TID) appears at the top of the profile. This TID must be added to the traveler’s Apollo or Galileo Personal file.
4. To specify bundles for this traveler, in the Bundles section of the screen,
click Add.
The Available Bundles screen appears.
5. Click to select the desired bundle,
click Add.
The Traveler's PRO-file appears, updated with the traveler's service bundle.
6. To specify notification e-mail addresses for this traveler, in the Notification section of the screen,
click Add.
The Notification Messages screen appears.
7. Type an e-mail address into the field provided, and select a provider,
click Save.
The Traveler Profile appears, updated with the traveler's e-mail address. You can add additional e-mail address if the traveler has multiple e-mail addresses, or wants to notify additional people, such as a travel arranger or secretary.
8. To specify the wireless devices to which the traveler subscribes, in the Wireless Devices section of the screen, click Add.
The Select Device Manufacturer screen appears.
9. Click to select the desired manufacturer,
click Submit.
The Select Your Specific Model Screen appears.
10. Click to select the applicable model,
click Submit.
The Wireless Service Provider screen appears.
11. Click to select the provider for the device selected,
click Save.
The Traveler Profile screen appears. The Device ID now appears next to the device name (except for e-mail devices). The traveler enters the Device ID when created a Galileo Wireless bookmark in the wireless device.
12. To add additional wireless devices, in the Wireless Devices section,
click Add, and repeat steps 9-11.
Editing Traveler Profiles
Follow these steps to edit a traveler profile.
1. On the Wireless home page, click the plus sign (+) beside Travelers to expand the topic, and then click Edit.
The Traveler Search screen appears.
2. Take one of the following actions:
To: / Take these actions:Find profile by TID / Type the TID.
Click Find.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
Search for profile / Type the (case-sensitive) traveler’s first and last name.
Click Search for Profile.
The Traveler Matching Query screen appears.
Click the TID of the desired traveler.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
Find released travelers / Type the TID.
Type the security code.
Click Find.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
3. Take one of the following actions.
To: / Take these actions:Edit profile information / Click Edit in the middle section of the screen.
The Traveler Information screen appears.
Then use the guidelines in the Adding Traveler Profiles section to make any changes.
Add or edit personal information / Go to the Editing Personal Information Section.
Add or edit bundles / Go to the Editing Bundle Assignments section.
Add or edit wireless devices / Go to the Editing Wireless Devices Section.
Add or edit e-mail addresses / Go to the Editing Notification Message section.
To release a traveler profile to another sponsor / Click Edit in the middle of the screen.
Then click Release at the bottom of the Traveler Information screen.
Editing Personal Information
Personal information may be modified, as needed, for your traveler.
Follow these steps to add or change personal information for the traveler.
1. On the Wireless home page, click the plus sign (+) beside Travelers to expand the topic, and then click Edit.
The Traveler Search screen appears.
2. Take one of the following actions:
· Type the TID and click Find.
· Type the (case-sensitive) traveler’s first name, last name, home zip/postal code, and/or e-mail address. Then click Search for Profile.
The Traveler Matching Query screen appears.
3. Click the TID of the desired traveler.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
4. Just below the Rebook section, click Edit.
The Traveler screen appears.
5. Overtype any information that needs to be modified, including Rebook information, if applicable.
Click Save.
The Traveler Profile screen appears showing the changes to personal information.
Editing Bundle Assignments
Bundles are service packages available to your travelers. The default bundle(s) is automatically assigned when you add the traveler profile. See the Sponsor Profile section for more information on bundles.
Follow these steps to add or change the bundles assigned to the traveler profile.
1. On the Wireless home page, click the plus sign (+) beside Travelers to expand the topic, and then click Edit.
The Traveler Search screen appears.
2. Type the (case-sensitive) traveler’s first and last name and then click Search for Profile.
The Traveler Matching Query screen appears.
3. Click the TID of the desired traveler.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
4. In the Bundles section, click Edit.
The Available Bundles screen appears.
5. Check the box beside each bundle to be assigned to the traveler. Clear the checkbox for any bundle that no longer applies.
6. Click Save.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
Editing Notification Messages
You can add additional e-mail devices if the traveler has multiple e-mail addresses, or wants to notify additional people, such as travel arranger or secretary.
Follow these steps to add or change e-mail devices for your traveler.
1. On the Wireless home page, click the plus sign (+) beside Travelers to expand the topic, and then click Edit.
The Traveler Search screen appears.
2. Take one of the following actions:
· Type the TID and click Find.
· Type the (case-sensitive) traveler’s first name, last name, home zip/postal code, and/or e-mail address. Then click Search for Profile.
The Traveler Matching Query screen appears.
3. Click the TID of the desired traveler.
The Traveler Profile screen appears.
