GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

SENIORS - remember that yourSenior Yearbook Pictureis due byOctober 31st. You may bring a picture to Mrs. Walter in the main office, or you may email your picture to .

HOMECOMING: October 10th-15 “To The Orbit & Beyond.”

Monday- Pajama Day, Drive in Movie- Toy Story- Donations are accepted and concessions are available.

Tuesday- Hawaiian Day, Night Games at Memorial Park6:30-9:00 pm

Wednesday- Tie Dye Day, Powder Puff Football 6pm

Thursday- Throwback

Friday- Red & White, Parade 5pm, Groups that are in the parade must meet at the outdoor pool at 4pm. Game at 7pm. Adult tickets are $5, Students are $3. Gates open at 6pm.

Saturday- Dance 8-11:30, Tickets are $10 and must be bought Monday-Friday next week before and after school.

ALL funds raised for homecoming will go to the Orbit Closet. The Orbit is a resource for students and families in need here at NHS.

HOMECOMING GUEST PASS: Anyone bringing a guest from another school MUST have a completed guest pass back to the Activities Office by Wednesday October 12th! No exceptions!! No middle school students and nobody older than the age of 20 allowed.

NHS Hall of Fame Tailgate: On Friday October 14th 5-7 pm, Outside the Cafeteria at Neenah High School. There will be food, music, raffles, tours, photo booths and more! This is hosted by the Arete Academy to honor the alumni and the 2016 Hall of Fame Inductees.

Picture Re-Take Dayis Today, October 7thfrom10 am - 2 pmin the Pickard Lobby. All students who have not had their picture taken by the photographer MUST have their picture taken that day if they want to be in the yearbook. Other students who wish to have their pictures re-taken should bring their old pictures back, and have new pictures taken that day.

Softball Meeting: There will be a meeting at7:10 a.m.on Tuesdaymorning for all girls who are interested in playing softball next spring. The meeting will be held in Room 408. If you have any questions please see Coach Frost.

SIGN-UP MEETINGS FOR GIRLS BASKETBALL: Monday 10/17andMonday 10/24 - 7pmin the NHS Cafeteria. We do require all players and a parent/guardian to attend one of these two meetings. Contact NHS Head Girls BB Coach Andy Braunel for more info

TheGrand Canyon Adventure is coming in 2017. You have an opportunity to take a fun and educational trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks with your classmates / friends next year. Mr. Meyer from Shattuck will be leading the group. For more information email Mr. Meyer at

The Launch Pad (school store) is open every day after school until4:30pm. The Senior shirts have been ordered, and should be innextThursday, October 13th.

Photography Club meets Mondays3:30-5:00in Room 500.

Urban Farm Club meets on Mondays 3:30-4:30in Room 404.

ART CLUB meets on Tuesdays at 3:20pm in Room 420.

Latino Club: meets on Tuesdays at3:20pmin Room 326.

YOGA CLUB meets Tuesdays 3:45 - 4:45in Room 144. Students and staff are welcome to attend.

until mid May.

Knitting Club: Meets Wednesdays from3:30-5:00in the Career Center, Room 322.

Any High School Students interested in becoming a Best Friend After-School Mentoron Mondays?Please stop at Mrs. Nass’ desk (administration office) to pick up an application. The program is heldon Mondaysat Neenah High.

Volunteers are Needed for Children’s Day at the Haunted House

When: Saturday, Oct. 1st and Saturday, Oct. 22nd

Shift 1- 11:30am-2:15pm

Shift 2- 2:00pm- 4:30pm

We also welcome volunteers to stay for both shifts!

Volunteers are needed to run carnival games, hand out candy at trick-or-treat stations, and do face painting. We encourage volunteersto either wear child friendly Halloween costumes or tshirts/sweatshirts that represent their group. Snacks and beverages provided for volunteers.

Neenah High School's Annual Helping Hands Art & Craft Fair

Mark your calendars, bring a friend, and get your holiday shopping done early while supporting a great cause. All vendor’s booth and entrance fees are used to support those students and families at Neenah High School who find themselves in urgent financial need situations throughout the year. GAIN (Girls Athletics in Neenah) will provide food, the NHS Culinary Club Cafe will also offer food during the Badger football game, there will be a used book sale, and over 100 fine arts & crafts vendors will display and sell creations such as (but not limited to): painting, sculpture, prints, drawing, clothing, jewelry, metal work, glass, leather, fiber, wood, photography, handmade paper, ceramics, and more.Location: Neenah High School, 1275 Tullar Rd in the Ron Einerson Fieldhouse.It'll be great fun, and we hope to see you there!Like us on Facebook.
