INVITATION to attend the Annual Meeting of the European Society LIGHT & GLASS
September 11th till September 13th 2014 at Kamenicky Senov, Peter Rath’s house No. 294.
Located opposite the glass Museum, between the church and the Secondary Glass School.
For members the attendance is free, for guests we ask for a contribution of € 4o.-
Travel costs, Hotel and food, except for the welcome dinner on Thursday at your own expense.

September 11th Thursday:
Arrival of members, get together meeting at 4 pm at Peters house opposite the Museum

September 12th Friday:
10 am: We meet at Peter’s House, drive to Preciosa chandelier factory in the lower town.
10:30: Guided tour Preciosa factory and two more chandelier productions in town
Lecture Jaroslav Bejvl jr., Art Director, "The new way of light"
1 pm: small lunch/picnic in Kamenicky Senov, meet the Mayor Mr. Kucera and his team.
3 pm: Key note lecture from Pascal Mestrom “The Glass Manufacturer Petrus Regout from 1829 in Holland”, followed by Annual Assembly L&G 2014 at Peter Rath’s house, as per agenda
6:30 pm: we drive to Ceska Kamenice (or to Daubice?) for dinner
September 13th Saturday:
10:30 am: We meet at the Glass Museum in Novy Bor for a short visit
11:00 am: Possibly a tour of the Offices of the chandelier factory LASVIT
11:30: We return to Kamenicky Senov for further lectures and discussion on our future.
12:00: Presentation Olivier Perrin „Collection of original old European Catalogues and documentation on Lighting pieces and glass“

AGENDA FOR THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY 2014:
1) Welcome, accounting of present, excused, quorum.
2) Approval of minutes of last meeting Würzburg 2013 (see internet)
3) President‘s report for 2013 and preview for 2014
4) Treasurer‘s reports for 2012 (not approved in Würzburg!) and for 2013
5) Treasurers budget for 2014, discharge of treasurer and control
6) Possible election (confirmation) of board members (as to new laws!)
7) Presentation of new by-laws as approved by the board. (English – Deutsch)
Intensive discussion on by-laws, then to be translated into Czech and approved by legal advisor as to new Czech law. They will then be published on www.lightandglass.eu
8) Technical solution of our internet website (Vienna – to Berlin)
9) Date and Venue suggestions for Annual Assembly 2015
