Announcements for Tuesday, November 14, 2017 – “BDay”
I am a Beville Bobcat on the PROWL. I will show leadership every day as I choose to respect myself and others.
Students . . . this week, a competition has started called the Battle of the Hallways! We want to see which hallway of homerooms will be the cleanest. At the end of each week, we will announce the homeroom hallway in the lead. Data will be collected, each piece of trash equals one point. At the end of the week, it will be announced how many points each hallway has accumulated. The hallway with the least amount of trash will win. Winners will be announced on December 1. GO BOBCATS!
Attention eighth graders! Tonight, Tuesday, November 14, beginning at 7 p.m., Gar-Field High School will host an IB Information Night highlighting their IB Program, a Plumbing Program, and a Marine ROTC Program. If interested, the evening is not to be missed.
There will be a Grounds Clean-Up after school on Wednesday, November 15, from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Help make Beville more beautiful. Pick up a form outside Room 35 [Mr. Dutton]. P.S. Be sure to wear/bring some old shoes, because it could be muddy.
Our PTSO will sponsor a Beville Spirit Night at the Five Guys restaurant at Foulger Square (near Cici’s and Kohl’s) from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Come on out at support Beville Middle School by purchasing your dinner at Five Guys next Wednesday. Thanks for your support!
Also, there will be a PTSO Meeting on Monday, November 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Merrifield Café. Come one, come all!
Come play in Beville’s third annual Turkey Bowl on November 21. Sign-up a team of eight players . . . teams can be grade specific or mixed teams. Each player must donate three canned good items to participate in the turkey bowl. We will crown a grade-specific champion and an overall champion. This is open to both boys and girls. The last day to sign-up will be on Thursday, November 16. Once again, GO BOBCATS!
