On Sunday May 7th 2017at 10am, the Ayrshire FanfareShow,is being held in conjunction with the 36th Annual Ayrshire Fanfare Sale, which is to be held at 11am on Monday May8th 2017.
The Show will commence at 10.00am with the following classes.
1) Heifer born since Jan 1st 2017
2) Heifer born 1/07/2016 to 31/12/2016
3) Heifer born 1/01/2016 to 30/06/2016
4) Heifer born 1/07/2015 to 31/12/2015
Junior Champion & Reserve Junior Champion (from 1st & 2nd prize of class 1-4)
5) Heifer dry, born 1/07/2014 to 30/06/2015
6) Heifer in milk, born on or after 1/01/2015
7) Heifer in milk, born 1/01/2014 to 31/12/2014
Intermediate Champion & Reserve Intermediate Champion (from 1st & 2nd prize of class 5-7)
8) Cow Dry, born on or before 1/07/2014
9) Cow in milk, born 1/01/2013 to 31/12/2013
10) Cow in milk, born 1/01/2012 to 31/12/2012
11) Cow in milk, born 1/01/2011 to 31/12/2011
12) Cow in milk, born on or prior to 1/01/2011
Champion 2017 Fanfare Sale Entry(from highest placed Fanfare Sale Entry from each class 1-12)
Best Udder – Drawn from Best Udder of each in milk class
Champion & Reserve Champion Cow (from 1st & 2nd prize of class 8-12)
13) Cow or heifer dry, purchased at a previous Fanfare Sale
14) Cow or Heifer in Milk, purchased at a previous Fanfare Sale
15) Junior Paraders Class aged under 12yrs to lead heifer 12mths or under
16) Junior Paraders Class aged 12-16 yrs to lead heifer dry under 2 yrs
FANFARE SHOW 2017 RULES:
Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to at least 3rd place in all classes.
Show Entry fees are $20 per entry, includes bedding(show only animals).
Cattle can enter the showground from Friday morning May 5th from 9am.
Clipping of entries in the show and sale is a “sale clip” only (head, tail & udder) - any animals clipped for a recent show are to not have a topline clip.
2017 Fanfare Sale entered animals- Show entry and bedding is included in the Sale Catalogue fees.Fanfare Sale Entries will have automatic entry to the eligible show class and they must be shown.
Show Entry is open to any Ayrshire,Registered in the Full Herd Book with minimum 87.5% Ayrshire Blood.
Show entries close Wednesday April 26th 2017.
Classes 13 - 16are free entry - entries in class 13 & 14 are to be entered in their eligible age class prior.
The Fanfare Show Committee have the right to change classes if they see fit.
All animals musthave an NLIS tag, and will be scanned morning of the show.
Show attire – National Uniform (Blue Chambray shirt and Cream/white pants).
National Show Ring Code of Ethics Rules Apply.
BJD and Cattle Health Declarations will need to be provided upon entry.
Breakfast and Lunch Catering will be available on both the Show and Sale days.
The Fanfare Dinner will be held on Sunday May7that 7pm at Madden’s Commercial Hotel, Camperdown.
