SUMMARY: Responsible for the planning, implementing, coordinating, recording, and reporting of all assessments at the EACC to include, but not limited to, dual credit and early college programs, State and Industry Certifications, and college placement examinations (Ivy Tech State College, Vincennes University and Southwest Michigan College).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·  Experience in daily operation, scheduling and coordination of testing sessions.

·  Ability to determine and perform appropriate testing protocol and to set up all tests administered within the Testing Center.

·  Ability to read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve non-routine and complex problems, observe and interpret situations, learn and apply new information and skills; perform highly detailed work on multiple concurrent tasks and work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions.

·  Ability to ensure the security, reliability and validity of tests.

·  Ability to generate and maintain reports regarding testing information (results, numbers and kind of tests given, etc.), on a regular basis and as requested by faculty and staff.

DESIRED SKILLS:

·  Experience in administering State, Industry and College Assessments such as Accuplacer (Ivy Tech, Vincennes, etc.), NOCTI, MSSC, NA3SA, 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, Precision, NIMS Network, Milady, ASE, National Healthcare Association and NCHSE Foundations.

·  Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.

·  Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and other district personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

  1. Evaluate and qualify as many students as possible for dual credit.
  2. Test students with Accuplacer, as needed.
  3. Print and submit all applications for dual credit students.
  4. Track all students’ eligibility for dual credit and certifications.
  5. Coordinate with the Ivy Tech Early College Coach and the EACC Education Coordinator in the application and testing process for dual credit and early college.
  6. Aid in the collection of data for Early College selection.
  7. Order and set-up Accuplacer testing for dual credit and early college.
  8. Help facilitate communication with students, teachers, and administrators on the Early College and Dual Credit process, on state and industry certifications and the proctoring of all online examinations.
  9. Administer, collect and report all Ivy Tech and Vincennes University student surveys.
  10. Create a master database/classroom database for the EACC Education Coordinator; send School Counselors student testing results.
  11. Test and trouble shoot all new software/testing applications and send work orders in as applicable.
  12. Content manager of the EACC Facebook page.
  13. Proofread the EACC website.
  14. Log all students into computers at the beginning of school and send in all corrections.
  15. Supervise In-School Suspension (ISS), as needed, and supervise all students not attending field trips.
  16. Set and gather student follow-up information for entire school for state reporting purposes.
  17. Help students with their resumes and references for the Turner Scholarships, Awards for Excellence, and SkillsUSA.
  18. Organize, gather and print all Teacher Choice Awards certificates.
  19. Work with EACC staff with computer software issues.

Education and/or Experience: Excel experience necessary; preferred experience with Google Docs/Sheets. Regular and timely attendance is essential.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as computer software manuals and procedure manuals. Ability to write procedures for employees and communications to employees. Ability to communicate with employees to train.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities: Experience working with computers is necessary. Windows training/experience is preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
