Objectives/ Lesson Aims:

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

  1. Cognitive Objectives:

a)talk about possessions using “have got”;

b)to role-play a dialogue;

c)to follow simple instructions;

  1. Affective Objectives:

a)to create a warm atmosphere in the classroom;

b)to give pupils an active role in the process of teaching/learning;

c)to help pupils enjoy learning English;

Assumptions: Taking into consideration the fact that pupils enjoyed the previous lesson on the same theme (food and drink), I assume their motivation will remain high for this lesson too.

Anticipated problems: Some of the students may find it difficult to connect their previous knowledge (food and drink vocabulary) with the new knowledge acquired in this lesson (have got + some/any; going to future).

Procedures: brainstorming, TBL (TASK-BASED LEARNING), CLT (Communicative Language Teaching), conversation;
